Medical spa opening new locations in Cary, Chapel Hill - WRAL News

OVME (pronounced "of me") has opened its second North Carolina location in the area.

The medical spa and aesthetics brand's newest location is at 97 South Eliot Road in Chapel Hill.

Going to a spa like this can be a little intimidating, but they really walk you through all of the options available.

OVME offers B-12 shots, IV hydration therapies, Botox, fillers and a variety of facials.

I've had facials, but not a HydraFacial before. I had to check it out. Basically this is a "leveled-up" treatment that uses serums and vacuums to exfoliate, cleanse, extract and hydrate the skin. My skin never felt so clean.

My esthetician explained other treatments OVME offers, including a specific kind of microneedling that uses needles and radio frequency (RF) to stimulate skin tightening, improve skin texture and minimize pores.

I hadn't heard much about Photo Facials before, so it was interesting to learn about what they actually do. OVME uses a powerful broadband light device to gently heat the upper layers of your skin, stimulating your cells to regenerate. It is used for hyperpigmentation, age spots, rosacea and freckles.

In addition to laser hair removal, OVME also offers cellulite treatments and Kybella (aka a procedure that helps remove your double chin).

If you aren't ready to take the plunge into Botox or fillers, you can definitely spoil yourself with some products from their famous "moss wall." There are products for just about every issue you are dealing with.

I opted to try the Boost Antioxidant and Vitamin C Serum. I've been using them for a few weeks and it is definitely helping to brighten up my skin.

All treatments can be purchased without signing up to be a member, but monthly members do get discounts on products, treatments and more perks. Memberships are offered for $50 and $99 per month.

OVME also has a location opening in Cary in August. The first North Carolina location was in Charlotte.
